How credit card validation work ?

We Use the Luhn algorithm to check the validity of the card number. The Luhn algorithm is a simple check that can be used to validate a variety of identification numbers, including credit card numbers. To use the algorithm, follow these steps:

Starting from the rightmost digit and moving left, double the value of every second digit. If the doubled value is greater than or equal to 10, add the digits of the doubled value together. For example, if the doubled value is 12, the sum of the digits is 1 + 2 = 3. Add up all the digits, both the original and the new ones. If the total is a multiple of 10, the card number is valid. If not, it is invalid. Here is an example of how to use the Luhn algorithm to validate a credit card number:
